About Us

El Diamante is a celebration of Dominican culture. Specializing in traditional Caribbean cuisine, our food is fresh and homemade with love. Our chef and founder, Issa founded El Diamante in 2020, as an ode to her late-grandmother Esperanza's restaurant. Coming from a culture-oriented family she learned to cook at a young age by her grandmother. Growing up in the Bronx, NY where the Latin community is strong and prideful, her community taught her about roots and the importance of food bringing people together.
